Conducted Research

Unmoderated Usability Study/ 5 Participants / 15 min

Low Fidelity

Using the basic flow of wireframe, I created a low-fidelity prototype. The main flow is based on the view of event coordinators who are looking for musicians.

Finding 1: Navigation

The parks and beaches available from county are decided, and no need to search from blank. Listed all parks and divided parks and beach from header.

Finding 2: Park Information

A lot of users make a decision which park to go with what they have as activity. Especially, kids and pet accessibility is more likely to be unclear for users, so they have to be indicated clearly.

Finding 3: Event Reservation

To raise the awareness of event announcement, purchasing process should be done by the community website.

Impact:

Community Engagement: The website and app can foster a stronger sense of community by providing a platform for residents to connect, share experiences, and participate in local events and activities.

Event Promotion: The platform can serve as a hub for event promotion, leading to higher attendance at community events, festivals, and gatherings.

What I learned:

User-Centric Design: You'll learn the importance of designing with the user in mind, tailoring the platform to meet the specific needs and preferences of your community members.

Community Collaboration: Building a successful platform requires collaboration with community members, including gathering feedback, addressing concerns, and involving residents in event planning.

Finding 4: Alerting

To inform any notice to community, alerting section should be created and should be noticable
